It is currently a major Grande Maison with 130 hectares in all of Burgundy. Pierre's headquarters in Nuits-Saint-Georges was the beginning of its fame, and since 2005, Erwan, the 7th generation head of the family, has taken over this business. This one was made by the previous generation, François. The Latricière Chambertin, a special classified vineyard on the south side of the village, is a microclima with a slightly higher annual temperature than the other Grands Crus. The 1995, an outstanding year, offers red fruit aromas with spice nuances, tannins with a hint of tanned leather, and a long, extended finish.
